DAMEN Naval Germany GmbH

Damen Naval is the dedicated naval shipbuilding division of the Damen Shipyards Group, which brings together all the naval activities of the group, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Damen Naval Germany GmbH is a full subsidiary of Damen Naval, and supports the activities of Damen Naval in Germany. We are located in Hamburg.

With roots stretching back almost 150 years (the company was formerly known as Royal Schelde) Damen Naval is the only naval shipbuilder of The Netherlands. Having delivered more than 400 vessels to customers both in The Netherlands and abroad Damen Naval is a trusted partner in the international marketplace of naval and complex vessels. Our ships are sailing with navies in nations such as The Netherlands, Belgium, Mexico, Indonesia, Morocco, Greece, Portugal and Chile.

Damen is committed to European cooperation and joint European naval development. In 2020 we signed a contract with the Bundeswehr for the F126 project. The contract consists of the delivery of four ships, that will be built in several locations in Northern Germany, involving German suppliers and partner companies.
